Who provides the service and what these terms cover

The Percentage Calculator is provided by Nikolay Iliev, based in Bulgaria. Contact info@percentagecalculators.app with questions about the website or these terms.

These terms apply to use of this website. If you choose to use it, use the service in accordance with these conditions and applicable law. Mobile app licences and purchases are also subject to the terms presented by the relevant app store and the app.

Free online tools and Premium app features

The website provides four free calculation types: a percentage of a value, percentage change, finding the whole from a part and rate, and a part as a percentage of a total.

Pages for the other calculator modes provide explanations and fixed worked examples. They do not accept your own calculation inputs. Those modes require Premium in the mobile app.

The app’s four core modes are free with ads. Premium unlocks the other calculators and removes ads. See the Free/Premium comparison before choosing a download or purchase.

Understanding and checking results

Calculators and examples provide mathematical information for general use. They are not personalised financial, mortgage, investment, tax or legal advice, and a result is not a quote or an offer from a lender or other provider.

Check the input values, units, formula and assumptions before relying on a result. Ordinary online results use up to eight decimal places; very small or large results may use scientific notation. A rounded display is marked with ≈. Display rounding, software errors or an unsuitable model can affect an answer.

Financial examples can exclude taxes, insurance, fees, contributions or other conditions unless specifically stated. Check a consequential decision against the relevant documents and obtain appropriate professional advice when needed.

Permitted use

You may use the calculators for lawful personal, educational or business tasks, copy your own results and link to the website.

Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, bypass access restrictions, introduce malicious software or make requests intended to disrupt other users’ access.

The website’s original design, code, text and branding belong to their respective rights holders. Use beyond what applicable law permits requires the appropriate permission. These terms do not claim ownership of general mathematical formulas or your input numbers and results. Third-party fonts and other licensed materials retain their own licence terms.

Mobile app licence and store terms

The mobile app is distributed separately through the App Store and Google Play. Compatibility and available features are described in those listings.

The iOS app is supplied under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Google Play downloads and purchases are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable app terms.

See the app-specific policy and terms for that service. This website does not grant a separate licence to redistribute the app.

Premium purchases, renewal and cancellation

Monthly and lifetime Premium options are presented in the app and relevant store. The current price, currency, billing period, available offer and purchase conditions shown at checkout apply. Both options unlock the Premium calculators and remove ads.

A recurring monthly subscription renews according to the terms shown by the store unless it is cancelled. Manage or cancel it through the store account used for the purchase. Removing the app is not a cancellation method.

Use the official instructions for cancelling an Apple subscription or managing a Google Play subscription. A lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase rather than a recurring monthly plan.

Payment and refund requests are handled under the purchasing store’s policies and applicable law. The website does not operate a checkout or collect card details. Contact support if you need help identifying a purchase or a technical issue. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.

External links and privacy

Links can take you to app stores, support services or other independently operated websites. Their own conditions and privacy notices apply after you follow a link. A link does not mean that those services are operated by us.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep the calculations and explanations useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or error-free operation in every situation. Features and pages may change, and access can be interrupted for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its information are provided as available without additional guarantees about suitability for a particular purpose. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude responsibility or rights that the law does not allow to be excluded.

Applicable law, changes and contact

These website terms are governed by Bulgarian law, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you, including consumer protections in your country of residence. They do not take away access to courts or other remedies provided by applicable law.

Revised website terms will be posted here with an updated date and apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. Updating this page does not itself remove rights attached to an existing store purchase.
